If a dirt bike rips through the forest at 50 MPH, does it make a sound? If the bike in question is the new all-electric KALK from Swedish bike builder Cake, it does not.
Designed for off-roading, the lightweight dirt bike weighs only 150 pounds, while its 2.6 kWh lithium-ion battery pack is strong enough to provide enough juice for 50 miles of riding.
Crafted from aluminum and carbon fiber, the KALK is completely gearless, and its components — from the wheels down to its suspension — were developed completely from scratch.
