Baby, You Can (Still) Drive Paul McCartney’s Car

Paul McCartney has had more than his fair share of hits over his 75 years, but his old Lamborghini sure wasn’t one of them.

Expected to fetch as much as $710,000 at a Bonhams Auction at this year’s Goodwood Members’ meeting in West Sussex, Sir Paul’s ‘67 Lamborghini 400GT failed to sell.

One of only 247 400GTs that were produced, McCartney’s model is even rarer because it is one of a handful of the coupes that were converted to right-hand-drive for customers in the UK.

First registered by McCartney on February 16, 1968, the Lambo was sold by the rocker in 1979.

It was sold again in 2011 and has been stored in a climate-controlled environment in a Hong Kong Lamborghini dealership ever since.
