Ferdinand Porsche once said, “I couldn’t find the sports car of my dreams, so I built it myself”. It seems like that attitude been adopted by Norman Choi, the CEO of Apollo Automobil.

The proof is in his company’s first ever supercar, which has more lines, fins and wings than you can shake a stick at. All that, plus it packs a 6.3-liter V12 with a top speed of 208 MPH and has 780 ponies in tow.

Christened the Apollo IE, the Italian-made beast has a six-speed sequential manual transmission and a carbon-fiber chassis. While it’s only limited to 10 units, the purchase of the Apollo IE will grant its owners access to Time Attack, a driver training program that will be offered at some of Europe’s best racetracks.

“We felt that all the technological advancement and automation in today’s supercars took away the pure, raw emotional connection between driver and car,” Choi said in a release. “We wanted to build a car that would fill that void separating car and driver. So we built the Apollo IE.”

Weighing in at 2755 pounds, the Apollo IE costs about $2.7 million, basically $980 per pound.
