Vans are the official unofficial shoe of summer. I say this as someone with little to no authority regarding the matter, save for my own belief in them as the ideal shoe for the season. But their wearability and ease with which they can be slipped on and off (quite literally with their Slip-On style) makes them perfect for those unbearably hot summer days when you can’t possibly put together a fully realized outfit yet want to maintain some semblance of style.
