You. This Glass House. Awesome.

Candlewood’s Meadow House is glass, magnificent

It’s said that people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

But they should totally host romantic getaways.

Case in point: Candlewood Cabins, the remote getaway in southwest Wisconsin that just erected a glassy masterpiece of a retreat called the Meadow House.

It’s open all year-round. You should make reservations now.

Why now? That view. Seriously, take a look.

Dreamy rustic modern vibe. Two levels. Broad panes of glass fenced by a wraparound deck that blends naturally into the rolling green surroundings.

The pad features an airy whitewashed kitchenette and bath below and a queen-sized bed above, along with a cozy woodstove fireplace.

It’s a perfect three-hour weekend jaunt away in the foothills of the Ocooch Mountains. Means gorgeous hikes. A short drive to Governor Dodge State Park.

And canoeing, swimming and fishing in the nearby Wisconsin River.

Now taking reservations, weekends for the Meadow House are going quick.

But fret not — there are other cabins on the grounds. Like: the original Glass House. Or for larger groups: the wooded Hillside Cabin and Log Cabin.

They’re all worth looking into.

And out of.
