If You’re Not Biking the Best Trails in the World, Why Bother?

Fill your Camelbaks. These guys'll take care of the rest.

No matter how good a mountain biker is at the Google machine, they will never know a local trail as well as … well, a local. Forget it if it’s far-flung locale.

That’s to say: the world’s best trails are unlikely to be listed online, let alone accurately.

New travel service Sacred Rides Getaways is out to change all that, capitalizing on the local rider’s knowledge with tours that link traveling mountain bikers to the world’s best single track destinations.

Permits. Gear. Snacks. Aprés microbrews. Best places to eat in town. These guys are pretty comprehensive. All you’ve gotta do is fill out a questionnaire on the website and select a ride, then Sacred Rides places you in a league so that you’re on the way to world-class riding.

Get out there. But get out there wisely.
