Rising ESPN Broadcaster Adam Amin Leaving for Fox Sports

According to The New York Post, ESPN will be losing another one of its talents to rival Fox Sports.

Adam Amin, a young play-by-play broadcaster who was rising in the ranks at the Worldwide Leader, will be departing the network for Fox.

Amin, who joined ESPN as a play-by-play analyst at 24 in 2011, is expected to call NFL games or college football for Fox, as well as Major League Baseball.

The 33-year-old, who called NBA and MLB games for ESPN as well as Thursday Night college football and the women’s Final Four, could be an eventual successor to top Fox broadcasters like Joe Buck, Kevin Burkhardt and Gus Johnson.

Amin’s departure comes on the heels of a report that afternoon radio personality Will Cain will be leaving ESPN for a role at Fox News.

A vocal conservative who previously worked at media outlets including The National Review and Glenn Beck’s The Blaze, Cain seems like a better fit talking about the world of politics than the world of sports.

Another Bristol broadcaster, 29-year-old Emmanuel Acho, is also leaving for Fox and will join a new version of FS1 morning show First Things First alongside Jenna Wolfe, Nick Wright and Kevin Wildes.
