Kanye West is going with a Star Wars theme for his next project, but it’s not a new music collaboration.

In a recent Forbes cover story, the rapper revealed he is currently developing low-income housing units inspired by the iconic film series. According to Forbes‘ Zach O’Malley Greenburg, the units are modeled after Star Wars architecture, specifically Luke Skywalker’s childhood home on Tatooine as depicted in 1977’s A New Hope.

While the report did not include any photos of West’s new project, Greenburg did describe his experience accompanying the rapper to an undisclosed location in California where the project is headquartered in a “bungalow in the woods.”

“Inspired by Luke Skywalker’s childhood home, West has been working with a team to design prefabricated structures that sport the same austere aesthetic, with the goal of deploying them as low-income housing units,” Greenburg wrote, describing the prototypes as “a trio of structures that look like the skeletons of wooden spaceships.”

West told Greenburg the massive, oblong structures could be used “as living spaces for the homeless, perhaps sunk into the ground with light filtering in through the top.” Greenburg also noted that West reportedly has an upcoming meeting with potential investors in San Francisco.

As The Hollywood Reporter noted, the rapper’s affinity for Star Wars is well-documented, with his lyrics featuring multiple references to the film series.

“He pushes people to do their best and pushes people even outside of their comfort zone, which really helps people grow,” West’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, told Greenburg.
