Shailene Woodley’s first film since 2016’s Snowden is inspired by the harrowing true story of a romantic couple who were caught in one of history’s most catastrophic hurricanes while sailing from Tahiti to California in 1983. The movie’s first trailer shows Woodley alongside Sam Claflin, a Brit best known for his work in The Hunger Games, riding massive waves and suffering in a fit of desperation as they try to right their course and make it to safety.
