“1984 only gets stranger.”
That’s the tagline Netflix has attached to the second season of its hit series, Stranger Things, which has just been given an Oct. 27 release date. As multiple outlets have previously reported, this season will take place around Halloween of George Orwell’s favorite year, and the streaming site has released this following description:
“It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana, are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”
