The story behind Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s infamous sex tape — recorded during their honeymoon and stolen from their home in 1995 — and the subsequent scandal surrounding it is slated to become a limited series for Hulu, Deadline reports.

Lily James will portray the former Baywatch star in the project — tentatively titled Pam & Tommy — while Sebastian Stan will play the Mötley Crüe drummer. Seth Rogen is attached to play the man who stole the sex tape, and I, Tonya director Craig Gillespie will direct the eight-episode series. Stan previously starred in I, Tonya as Jeff Gillooly.

According to Deadline, while the sex tape will make up a large part of the plot, it’s not the only aspect of Anderson and Lee’s relationship that will be portrayed on the series. “While the scandalous event will play a major part in the series, the story will have a big focus on their relationship going back to their whirlwind romance that started with them marrying after only knowing each other for 96 hours in 1995,” the publication notes.

Rogen is producing the series along with his partner Evan Goldberg through their Point Grey company, along with Dylan Sellers through Limelight and Dave Franco, Sue Naegle and Megan Ellison at Annapurna. There’s no word yet on when we can expect Pam & Tommy to premiere, but the series is slated to begin filming in the spring.
