An Hermès Tie Subscription Is a Ruthless Power Move

No one man should have all this neckwear

Are you a “sartorially savvy and subtly adventurous” tie-loving man?

French heritage house Hermès is here to give you what you want — on a monthy, bi-monthly or quarterly basis, with its new “Tie Society” subscription box.

Forgive them for the moniker because the deal is a good one, in terms of convenience if not price. If price is your determining factor, you’re probably not looking at Hermès for your neckwear supply, anyway.

Since its introduction in 1949, Hermès ties have been the ultimate sartorial power in the corridors of power. Next to bags and scarves, they’re the brand’s most popular accessory. Point is, they’re just as iconic as the brand itself.

As part of the “Tie Society,” and you cannot write those words without putting them in quotes, you’ll receive many hued, many-patterned and multi-textured Hermès ties at your chosen rate. The subsidiary benefits are good: Tie Societeers also get “free necktie delivery, expert laundering, tie reshaping and repairs,” as well as access to invite-only events, which will be of considerably more interest if you live near one of their U.S. boutiques — and given that you’ll find one in most big American cities — including New York, L.A., Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, etc. — you probably do.

Head on over to Hermès for more info.
