Like father, like son ... almost.

On Saturday, LeBron James wasn’t an All-Star, future Hall of Famer or three-time NBA champion – he was just a dad watching his son play basketball.

And dunk … almost.

During the ‘Balling on the Beach’ tournament in Miami, LeBron James Jr. – aka Bronny – went up for a one-handed slam while he was on a breakaway. He missed, but the crowd was still surprised and impressed by the 13-year-old’s effort – no one more so than his father.

“Man what!?!?! First time he ever tried that in a game today,” James wrote on Instagram afterward. “And it was someone kinda trailing him behind too! Surprised not only me but everyone in the gym. Man o Man!”

The elder James’ presence at the tournament helped fuel speculation he might be considering taking his talents back to South Beach if he decides to become a free agent this summer.

As it stands, the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook has the odds of the Heat winning the championship at 30-1, indicating James heading back to Miami is a longshot at best.
