Now that the NBA Finals are over, the Summer of LeBron is officially upon us yet again.

After famously taking his talents to South Beach and then back to Cleveland during previous free-agent summers, James is once again back on the market and looking to make a move.

Probably.

While it’s always possible James could return to Cleveland, that seems unlikely as the Cavaliers have lost to Golden State twice in a row in the finals by a combined game margin of 8-1.

So where will James go? There are seven other possible destinations that make sense, with the Los Angeles Lakers topping the list, mostly because they have the cap space to sign James as well as ink another max player like Paul George.

The Lakers also have decent young players – Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, and Lonzo Ball – they could keep or move for veteran talent and Los Angeles is a perfect off-court location for James to focus on his business interests in the entertainment industry.

Other possible destinations for James include Philadelphia, Houston, Boston, San Antonio, Golden State and Miami. However, from coaching to cap space to style of play, there are potential issues with all those teams that don’t exist with the Lakers, making them the favorite.

For now.
