Even though Tom Brady’s strict diet likely won’t allow him to drink it, the 41-year-old quarterback has had a beer brewed in his honor.

This week, Samuel Adams will release Too Old, Too Slow, Still Here, a nod to media members saying Patriots players, including Brady, were past their primes at times during the season.

The third part of the title, “Still Here,” is a nod to Brady himself chanting “We’re Still Here” at a rally before the team left for Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta.

“We’re behind the New England Patriots 100 percent as they head to the big game,” Samuel Adams founder Jim Koch said in a statement. “The best way we could think to honor the team was to brew a beer for fans that can’t make it to Atlanta and a New England-style double IPA with as much spirit as the players felt like the perfect beer. We haven’t doubted them all season and can’t wait to watch them on Sunday with a beer in hand that honors their hard work.”

Containing notes of candied peach and pineapple, the double New England IPA will debut during a release party at the Boston Brewery & Tap Room on Thursday.
