Say what you want about him, but as a player, Alex Rodriguez always had a gift for hitting.
Now, as the producer and host of his own show, we’ll find out if he also has a gift for gabbing.
Following successful stints as an analyst for Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN and Fox’s MLB postseason studio show, the three-time MVP will host a four-part interview series titled Pivot with Alex Rodriguez.
On the show, Rodriguez will use his personal experience with off-field troubles to “conduct an in-depth, one-on-one interview with a current or former star athlete who is navigating through obstacles in their life and career” in “an environment relevant to each athlete’s personal story.”
Rodriguez, who collected 696 home runs and 3,115 hits in his 22-year career playing for the New York Yankees, Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners, will still work as an ESPN analyst.
The new series will air on ESPN and ESPN Deportes during the MLB regular season.
