It went down to the last hole of the final round on Sunday, but Brooks Koepka continued his storybook year by winning the 2018 PGA Championship. The 28-year-old also won the US Open in June.
But this time, he had a Tiger on his tail — finishing just two strikes behind. Tiger Woods shot his lowest final round in a major ever with a 64 Sunday at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis. For Woods, a 14-time major and 4-time PGA champion, it marked a moral victory for a golfing legend who last won a major 11 years ago.
The Wanamaker Trophy is Koepka’s third major, and comes with a purse of $1.98 million.
