Remember that King Arthur-inspired cabin we told you about popping up on the Welsh countryside as part of the country's “Year of Legends” celebration?

Well, the cabin is about to open for business in Southern Snowdonia — and it turns out it's just one of eight boutique accommodations that will briefly reside in Snowdonia National Park to form Wales’s first luxury pop-up glamping hotel.

Like Arthur’s Cave, the other bespoke structures that make up the Epic Retreats Hotel — the Black Hat, Cabin in the Woods, Dragon’s Eye, Little Dragon, Miner’s Hut, Skyhut and Slate Cabin — were all inspired by the mythology, traditions, history and natural beauty  of Wales.

From skylights to rotating circular beds to a canvas tepee roof, the units possess their own distinct features, but they all include woodburning stoves and ensuite facilities. In addition to unique lodgings, guests also receive curated experiences like fishing trips and beer tastings.

Bookings in Snowdonia are available until June 30th, after which the Epic Retreats experience will pick up and move to the Llŷn Peninsula before reopening from July 10th to September 11th.

If you’d care to honor the roots of Welsh history by staying in a dragon-related pod, a convertible observatory or King Arthur’s digs, here’s where to book.
