Say what you want about him and his theory that life is just a computer simulation, but when Elon Musk sets his mind (and his money) to doing something, he usually pulls it off.
That’s why it’s basically par for the Musk course that the crazy-sounding tube tunnel system he proposed to help alleviate Los Angeles traffic has not only broken ground, it’s already gotten approval for an expansion.
The first bore of his aptly named Boring Company was highlighted over the weekend when Musk shared a picture of a so-far 500-foot tunnel under LA that will be expanded to stretch nearly two miles within the next four months.
