The Harlem Globetrotters of old were happy just pulling off ome ridiculous slam dunks or spinning balls on their pointer fingers. The new, Millennial version of the famed trick-shot team isn’t satisfied with old-fashioned, ground-level basketball magic, however. Trick shots need to be over the top—way, way, over the top.
Case in point: Bull Bullard’s recent trick-shot stunt, which featured the Globetrotter hopping into a helicopter and attempting a shot 210 feet above Wildwood Beach in New Jersey. (The Globetrotters will bring their game to Wildwood for four games, Aug. 16–19.)
