You may know Louisville best for its college sports scene—or historic baseball bat factory—but did you know that it has a burgeoning food scene? BizJournals recently ranked the top user-rated restaurants in Louisville. Below, find the top five choices.
Jack Fry’s
Established in 1933, the restaurant was first known as a sportsman’s hangout—but after an ownership change in 2008, became a culinary powerhouse, serving up top-notch Southern and American bistro fare. To book your next visit to Jack Fry’s, click here.

Buck’s Restaurant and Bar
Located in the historic Mayflower building, Buck’s has been serving up dishes like bourbon chicken saltimbocca and crispy cod with hot-sweet chili sauce since 1992. Add in nightly piano music and the fact that it’s a stop on the Urban Bourbon Trail, and you have a sure-fire winner. To visit Buck’s, click here.
Brazeiros Churrascaria
A Brazilian steakhouse, Brazeiros’ Louisville location is one of two (the other is in Knoxville, Tenn.). Upon arrival, diners are provided with a two-sided card—one red, the other green—to signal your personal meat chef. You then choose from 15 different cuts of meat, and it will be served to you until you flash the red side of your card. For more on Brazeiros, click here.
