Eleven years have passed since the last Ring film. (And 25 years since the Japanese novel by Kôji Suzuki that started it all.) Now The Ring and its creepy little girl are back, with the new trailer for the upcoming Rings. While some of the cast isn’t known for their work in the horror genre (such as The Big Bang Theory‘s Johnny Galecki and Friday Night Lights‘ Aimee Teegarden), it’s good to see Vincent D’Onofrio returning to his disturbing roots. (He turned in impressively unnerving performances as a human taken over by an alien in 1997’s Men in Black and the doomed “Gomer Pyle” in Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket in 1987.)
