Winter is coming and it’s bringing a body count. “The Snowman,” originally a best-selling thriller by Norwegian author Jo Nesbø, is getting the screen treatment this October, with Michael Fassbender leading the investigation into a serial killer who targets women — and seems to develop a personal interest in Fassbender’s detective as the story unfolds. Directed by Tomas Alfredson and co-starring Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and J.K. Simmons, the movie hits theaters on October 20.
