In advance of Manhattan Night‘s release, Adrien Brody sat down with New York Daily News entertainment reporter Ethan Sacks to discuss the film:
“Adrien Body could have ended up a New York Daily News columnist like the one he plays in his latest film, Manhattan Night.
That’s because many of the Queens-born actor’s childhood memories took place in a newspaper office, watching his mother, Sylvia Plachy, a photographer for the Village Voice on the job.
‘I remember the staff dinners on a Friday night…and everybody would get together and talk, all these interesting people and great writers and photographers,’ the Oscar winner told the News.”
