Kim Kardashian West, who worked with President Trump and his administration to help set Alice Marie Johnson free, is turning her passion for prison reform and political activism into a documentary.
To get footage for the documentary, Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project, the reality TV star visited the District of Columbia Correctional Treatment Facility to discuss the Georgetown Prison Scholars program, a higher education initiative for inmates which is taught by Georgetown professor Marc Howard.

The forthcoming documentary, which will air on Oxygen, will showcase Kardashian West’s efforts to “secure freedom for Americans who she believes have been wronged by the justice system.”
In a Twitter post about her visit and the documentary, the 38-year-old star wrote: “Last week I was so moved by Dr. Marc Howard, a Georgetown professor who teaches a course inside of a DC prison where men & women can get Georgetown credits. I met so many amazing people that can’t wait to share their stories with you. I hope you will learn about the justice system the way I have.”
In addition to securing a release from prison for Johnson, a grandmother who was serving time after receiving a life sentence for a nonviolent drug offense, Kardashian West has helped finance and gain support for campaigns which have led 16 others to be freed from serving time for low-level drug crimes.
