Dozens of court documents unsealed Thursday night have provided new information about Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of underage girls, including insight into the extent to which his alleged accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, was involved.

In a 2015 court filing, Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre claimed Maxwell turned a young Giuffre into a “sex slave,” detailing Maxwell’s direct involvement in the sexual abuse of the young girls she is thought to have helped procure for Epstein. Giuffre testified that Maxwell had “continuous” sex with girls and women, claiming Epstein’s private island of Little St. James was a destination for “constant” orgies in which Maxwell was a frequent participant.

“The island was a place where orgies were a constant thing that took place. And again, it’s impossible to know how many,” said Giuffre, citing a “blur” of women she witnessed Maxwell having sex with. “There were blondes, there were brunettes, there were redheads. They were all beautiful girls. I would say the ages ranged between 15 and 21.”

Giuffre, who claimed she was also trafficked to powerful acquaintances of Epstein’s, said Maxwell used those connections as a threat. “Jeffrey did a lot more of that than she did,” said Giuffre. “But she definitely made it aware that we shouldn’t cross boundaries with them.”

The documents also reveal that Bill Clinton was a guest on Epstein’s island, which Giuffre told lawyers in 2011. Giuffre said she recalled asking Epstein about Clinton’s presence, to which Epstein allegedly replied that Clinton owed him a favor.

“He never told me what favors they were,” said Giuffre. “I never knew. I didn’t know if he was serious.”

The unsealed documents also added detail to accusations against Prince Andrew, which allege Epstein forced a woman known as Jane Doe #3 to have sex with the prince at Maxwell’s flat in London. Prince Andrew has not been accused of any crime by law enforcement, but federal prosecutors in Manhattan have said the prince has refused to cooperate with their investigation.

Another chilling detail from the unsealed documents reveals Epstein once assured Maxwell that she had “done nothing wrong.” In a 2015 email, sent amid scrutiny Maxwell was facing over her ties to Epstein, he encouraged her to “go outside, head high, not as an escaping convict,” according to court filings. “You have done nothing wrong.”
