Most of us love a good cup of coffee in the morning, but would you pay $150 for one?

Three cafes in Melbourne are offering customers a”Jose Alfredo” for that price tag — a beverage  touted as one of the most lavish and unique blends of fresh organic coffee, according to Luxury Launches.

The coffee is served in a glass goblet and has “notes of lychee, passionfruit, cognac, and cocoa.” The coffee beans cost about $5,000 per kilogram, which is one a single cup is so expensive.

“It’s an amazing experience and it’s not just coffee consumers that prefer it,” said Martin Shaw, one of the owners of the three cafes, to Luxury Launches. “It’s actually private and wholesale clients as well that have been showing an interest for the Jose Alfredo coffee.”

He went on to say that people may laugh at how expensive the coffee, he stands by it because he wants to support the farmers and their work.
