If the trailer for Kidding is any indication, Showtime’s new Jim Carrey-led series promises an emotional rollercoasters for viewers. Portraying the publicly beloved television figure Mr. Pickles — clearly based on a type of Mr. Rogers-esque benevolent family man — viewers see Carrey’s character begin to spin into a cycle of madness.
