“I’ve always said I wanted to play James Bond,” actress Priyanka Chopra said during an appearance this week on James Corden’s Late Late Show. “That would be super cool.”
The Bollywood star has asserted before that she’d prefer to play Bond rather than fall in love with him — and for her, it’s not just a role. It’s an indication of where the movie industry is heading in general.
“…I hope in my lifetime I get to see such iconic parts be played by women, you know in a genderless [way]—even if it’s not me,” she said.
