Actress Halle Berry is having a good public-relations week. In addition to scoring points for refusing to skip black journalists during a red-carpet press event to promote the latest John Wick flick, the Monster’s Ball Oscar winner showed she owns her duds, CNN reports.

That includes the flop, The Rich Man’s Wife. During a guest appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Berry came clean about the 1996 drama written and directed by Amy Holden Jones. “I’m sorry everybody who worked on this movie,” Berry, 52, told the late-night host. “But I kind of knew it wasn’t going to be the greatest cinematic experience for the people.” Berry’s revelation came as part of a the program’s “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts” game in which the guest chooses to answer a mortifying query or digesting a disgusting snack (beetle nachos, in this instance).

“You go into these movies always with the best intention,” said Berry. “But then sometime you get on the set and then you realize ‘What was I high on when I agreed to do this?.” Leave it to X-Men‘s Storm to whip up a breeze of refreshing candor about her less-than-stellar work.
