Because pro-kayaker Brendan Wells and his brother Todd just took on the Salmon River in Washington state under cover of night. That they did it wrapped up like a Christmas tree in green and red LEDs makes the feat A) more impressive and B) infinitely more fun to watch. Especially when you see them disappear beneath the black water for a second or three.
Too bad Burning Man is in the desert. These guys would be a main attraction.
