Superhero fans, get ready to meet Carol Danvers, the main character in Captain Marvel, the next installment of Marvel’s cinematic universe.
A trailer for the film was released on Good Morning America, and the early footage looks out of this world.
Danvers (played by Brie Larson), has left Earth to join a team known as Starforce, which is led by a character played by Jude Law. Along the way, she runs into Lee Pace’s Ronan (previously seen in Guardians of the Galaxy) and the dreaded Skrulls, the shape-shifting aliens that have menaced their way through Marvel comics. According to The Verge, the film, set in the 1990s, will also feature a younger Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg).
