Orlando Bloom’s birthday party sounds pretty much like you would expect: a golden bar in the finest hotel of Marrakesh, one so nice that it basically looks like a palace. GQ tagged along to the star’s 41st birthday party, writing that there were beautiful people, endless champagne flowing into flutes, camels hanging out under olive trees and a snake charmer with a king cobra. The guest list was stacked, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Nick English, founder of Bremont Watches and Andres Faucher, film producer and tech entrepreneur. And of course, Bloom’s father, Colin, and Mighty, Bloom’s red poodle. The boy’s weekend included a Formula E race on Saturday. DiCaprio co-founded a team, Venturi, that briefly fielded 1997 FI World Champion Jacques Villeneuve. Bloom also doesn’t just throw birthday parties so he can watch, but he actually drives a lap around the race track. Well, half a lap, before he hits a sharp corner.
