On the heels of the recent discovery of a 3,700-year-old tomb in Dahshur, the Egyptian Antiquities Authority have announced yet another monumental find—this time near Luxor.

According to the Associated Press, thousands of miniature statues, along with 10 colorful wooden sarcophagi, have been discovered in an ancient tomb thought to be from the New Kingdom period, dating from between 1,500 and 1,000 B.C.E., or about 3,500 years ago.

Per the report, the tomb consisted of a courtyard, which led down two halls. In one of them they found four sarcophagi. The other six were found in the other chamber.

The thousands of statues were found in an additional compartment.
