Imagine the most stylish beach cruiser out there.
Retro curves. Fat tires. Handsome leather grips and saddle.
Now take that bike and slap a motor on it that does 36 MPH.
That’s how you get the Cruz, quite possibly the best-looking electric bike on the planet.
The Cruz is the second ride by Vintage Electric, the cycling wizards behind the E-Tracker, an electric bike that took its aesthetic notes from outlawed turn-of-the-century board-track motorcycles with their distinctive handlebar design.
The new build takes all of the E-Tracker’s impressive specs and revamps the look into a classic California cruiser — more lazy beach day than moto mayhem.
On the specs front: Shimano Alfine hydraulic disk brakes, a sandcast aluminum battery box, LED lighting, Phil-Wood front hub and a 52-volt battery with 30 miles of range and two hours of recharge time.
Interested? Get on the phone, and quick: the Cruz comes in a limited run of 50, and once they’re gone, that’s it.
Hop on it.
