Because every man needs a plan, and some of us need that plan with pretty pictures, we present Where to Take Her: a series that answers a gentleman’s most pressing lifestyle questions and recurs whenever we get around to it.

This go-round: our picks on what to do around the city this November, from museums to comedy clubs to movies. Get out there.

Your Key:

Treasures of Walt Disney Archives: What kid doesn’t like Big Walt? With 300 archival pieces of Disney history on display, the Museum of Science and Industry celebrates 90 years of Chicago’s most imaginative native son.

ZooLights: Lincoln Park Zoo flips the switch on two million lightbulbs on November 29th this year. Train rides. Carousel rides. Animals.

Opening the Vaults: Wonders of the 1893 World’s Fair: The Field Museum opens its vaults and puts more than 100 artifacts from the 1893 World’s Fair on display for the first time in 120 years.

Jerry Seinfeld: The legendary king of observational comedy brings his bits to the Chicago Theatre in December.

A Clown Car Named Desire: The 37th revue on the Second City E.T.C. stage is a quick-witted, absurdly hysterical meditation on the human condition. Make it dinner and a show.

Emerald City: This year’s closing exhibition at LVL3 reflects on Pantone’s 2013 color of the year by bringing together five artists from various locations. Opening reception Saturday, 11/16. 6 to 10 P.M.

SHIFT: A New Media Exhibit by Luftwerk: The Chicago-based collaborative duo Luftwerk presents three distinct yet complementary works that amplify the relationship between sight, color and sound at the Chicago Cultural Center.

American Hustle: Lawrence, Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper lead a ridiculous cast in David O. Russell’s tale of a ‘70s con-man in over his head with the mafia and FBI.

Grace of Monaco: Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly. Guaranteed to, er, earn you some brownie points.

Wolf of Wall Street: Leo Dicaprio as real-life ‘80s stock swindler Jordan Belfort. Features yachts, midget tossing, DiCaprio pop-and-locking.
