The Schwartz House

If you need extra room, the Schwartz House (a.k.a. Still Bend) is ideal for a couples getaway. Lauded as a model “dream house” for LIFE Magazine in 1938, you’ll spread out over 3,000 square feet replete with fireplaces, built-in furniture and Wright’s signature clerestory windows. Upstairs: three bedrooms, each with a private balcony.
The Haynes House
Fort Wayne, Indiana
Built in 1952, the Haynes House’s low, horizontal lines open into the rolling one-acre lot that surrounds, while dramatic tidewater red cypress wood and a cantilevered brick fireplace await inside. Bonus: reserve a personal chef to come by and cook a seven-course gourmet meal.
The Palmer House
Ann Arbor, Michigan
Perhaps the most well-preserved, the Palmer House is situated in a cul-de-sac on two acres of private land bordering the Nichols Arboretum. Inside: three bedrooms, two baths and all original furniture, right down to the Thermador stove. In addition, the site has a matching triangular teahouse.
