Morgan Motor company is bidding farewell to the Aero 8 with a special edition roadster set to debut at the annual motor show in Geneva next year. Engineered using lessons learned from Morgan’s race victories, the race-inspired yet road-friendly Aero GT will be limited to a run of eight models. Before you ask, each model is already spoken for.

Packing the same 4.8-liter BMW V8 and six-speed manual transmission that’s found in the Aero 8, the 367-HP Aero GT does 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds and maxes out at a top speed of 170 MPH.
The vehicles — which are the final Aero 8 variants to be produced at Morgan’s Pickersleigh Road factory — will be tailored to each owner and dressed up with customer-requested additions as well as individually numbered.
“Unlike many, we are able to make truly special limited edition vehicles that really exercise the imagination of the designer and the ability of the craftsman,” said Morgan lead designer Jon Wells. “The Aero range has always offered Morgan the platform to explore the boundaries of mechanical and styling design and I am delighted the family has allowed one of our wildest ideas to become a reality.”
