Does the world need another Lotus 3-Eleven, an open cockpit roadster with no doors or radio or windshield or any one thing that resembles anything street-legal in the U.S.?
Probably not.
Perhaps that’s why the British car company is ending production. But this being the supercharged world of supercharged cars, you better believe its going out with a bang. The new Lotus 3-Eleven 430 marks the final and most powerful iteration of the company’s storied 3-Eleven range; the car can go 0-60 in just 3.1 seconds thanks to its lightweight full carbon bodywork and the impressive 3.5-liter supercharged Toyota V6 under the hood.
Only 20 examples will be made, and trust it’ll go for a pretty penny.
