Off-Roading in Moab
To the desert! More specifically, “Hell’s Revenge” in Moab, Utah. Local outfitters like Outlaw Jeep Tours will put you behind the wheel of a 4×4 for off-roading baptism: a dusty descent through Southwest slickrock in a tight ridge surrounded by 1,000 foot drops. As for where to rest your head? Under Canvas Moab has you covered with flush glamping sites.

You might be aware that McLaren maintains an online Build-A-Bear for cars. It’s one thing to daydream in the office. But how about actually getting behind the wheel? The British luxury sports car maker offers all manner of one-on-one driving sessions at Silverstone (the venue of the British Grand Prix) aimed at auto-junkies all the way up to aspiring amateur drivers.
Land Rover Touring Through North America
Land Rovers are too tough to stay so dang pretty. The car makers sanctioned driving experiences range the gamut, but you’ll wanna sign up for the Heritage Program, where nostalgists can get behind an iconic Defender 90 for full day adventures on the California coast, Quebec, in Vermont’s Green Mountains … or the muddy meadows of George Vanderbilt’s North Carolina estate.
Motorcyle Riding Across the American West
Picture you on the seat of an all-black Harley-Davidson Sportster, cranking from Joshua Tree to Yosemite. Better yet, make a pit-stop in Vegas — the folks back home don’t need to know. It’s The Roadery’s Great Western Road-Trip, and it’s the American West the way it deserves to be explored.
Van Camping in the Rockies
