This Is the Most Masculine Murse Ever
Langly just released the manliest tote ever
We’ve already dispelled the notion that tote bags aren’t masculine.
They’re utility meets accessibility with a side of handsome, and this one may be the paragon of that formula.
The bag arrives via Langly, an L.A. company that’s previously specialized in amazing camera bags. Now, they’ve taken that know-how and crafted a black twill/leather carrier that’ll help you navigate any hostile environment (like this weekend’s dinner table, amirite?).
It’s part of the company’s expanded line of everyday products, which also includes a cross-body messenger bag and — randomly — our new favorite flannel.
Langly was created by native Angeleno and photographer Evan Lane, who initially crafted a line of highly durable camera bags that packed a lot of organizational smarts. With a little tweaking, Lane expanded the designs into a collection of full-fledged general purpose luggage and apparel.
The Messenger Tote is a water-resistant, TPU-coated twill and leather beauty with six exterior pockets and removable camera inserts. It features a fold-over top with zip closure and magnetic snaps in lieu of traditional clips. You can carry it by hand, shoulder or even slung over your back thanks to detachable shoulder straps. The coyote edition makes for a handsome carry-on or errand bag; the more formal black one, which we tested out, is a bona fide briefcase replacement.
The company also just debuted Langly Supply, a line of apparel designed for travel. The lightweight All-Weather Zip bundles up nicely, is waterproof and features 10 pockets — remember, these guys are all about how you carry things (and yourself).
And their Field Flannel does double duty: it’s a heavyweight shirt and (secretly) a double-pocketed jacket all in one. It’s gonna save you at least one layer.
Safe travels. You’re all set.
