Your Phone Won’t Need a Charge for a Week With This Portable Power Bank

Anker’s PowerCore Lite has never been cheaper

I have chargers for long afternoons and long commutes.

But when I’m gone for more than 24 hours — like a recent four-day trip to Illinois that included 12 hours in sketchy Greyhound buses — I need a power bank that’s going to offer more than a few hours piece of mind.

Anker’s PowerCore Lite is the heavy-duty solution. It delivers up to seven phone charges to an iPhone 8 and 1.5 charges to an iPad Air 2 (and yes, it works with non-Apple products). As well, the twin USB ports let me charge two devices at once without sacrificing charging speed — important when you’re traveling with someone.

Plus, you can charge the PowerCore itself via either Micro USB or USB-C.

Basically, the PC Lite can keep your phone going for a week without needing a recharge of its own. And at just under 6”x3”x1” and 13.1 oz., it’s a fairly easy pocket carry (though better suited for jacket than pants pockets).

The black model is currently $37 and the (admittedly cooler) white model is $40, down from $56 and $60, respectively, and both new low prices for both.
