Would You Walk This Glass-Bottomed 88th-Floor Skywalk?

Don't worry, there's a harness

Acrophobes, look away. Adrenaline junkies, step right up.

Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai is China’s third-tallest building, and it just got a terrifying addendum in the form of this glass-bottomed open air skywalk that recently opened on the 88th floor.

Forty-three dollars gets you to the observation deck. Another $18 (and your John Hancock on a waiver) gets you out on the skywalk, which can only support 15 daredevils and two employees at a time. The views are insane — if you can stomach them.

It’s 60 meters long and just over one meter wide. And of course there are no handrails. That’s what the harnesses are for.
