If stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in calm waters is a challenge, just think about doing it in the middle of crashing waves. That’s no sweat off Delphine Macaire’s brow. The French adventure sportswoman, who’s also a real estate agent on the side, gets paid to shred waves on her kiteboard. But her stand-up paddleboarding skills are sponsor-worthy as well. When Macaire recently hit the surf in the southwest of France to strut her stuff, filmmaker Bertrand Beauchet tagged along to capture it all on tape.
