Glenn Jacobs, a professional wrestler best known as Kane in the WWE, will be the next mayor of Knox County in East Tennessee.

Jacobs, a Republican, defeated his democratic counterpart Linda Haney by more than 15,000 votes to win the Tennessee county’s top political office.

A former heavyweight champion, 6-foot-8 Jacobs has been a resident of Tennessee for more than 20 years and he operates an insurance and real estate company there with his wife.

After he pinned down the election, Jacobs got some congratulations and took the stage.

Kane, er, Jacobs will take office on September 1.
