Winter is coming—and apparently, won’t stop coming—for the cast of HBO series Game of Thrones.
According to Page Six, stars such as Kit Harington (i.e. Jon Snow) and Rory McCann (Sandor “The Hound” Clegane) have been filming scenes in Iceland amidst treacherous winter weather conditions.
Wind-gusts have reached 100 mph and have given the air a windchill factor of -13 degree Fahrenheit in one of the coldest seasons the cast has ever experienced at the site, which doubles for the Northern lands of Westeros on the show.
A source told the newspaper that “Daylight is scarce here [five to six hours a day]….Shelter is provided by ‘Russian tents’ that are anchored down, and able to be heated, and [can] withstand 100 mph winds.”
Per Entertainment Weekly, the show will return sometime this summer. Watch a teaser video for Season 7 below.
