Fox has released the first trailer for The Gifted, an upcoming TV show that’s set in the X-Men universe.
The trailer teases established Marvel characters from the comics, like Blink and Polaris, and introduces the teen mutants who the show is based upon. The Gifted is written by Matt Nix (Burn Notice), and X-Men’s own Bryan Singer is directing the pilot.
It’s part of 20th Century Fox’s attempt to build a TV universe out of its X-franchise after a successful batch of movies, including the most recent hits, Logan and Deadpool.
