Ice cubes? We don't need no stinkin' ice cubes.

The coolest thing about refrigerators? Their interior temps, obviously.

The not-so-coolest thing about ‘em? Attempting to move 'em in any way, shape or form.

Frostily, the new Dometic CFX Series 35W address the latter while maintaining the former.

A combination refrigerator/freezer that weighs about 40 pounds when empty and gets down to -7°F without the need for ice and the soggy aftermath frozen water has the potential to create, the Dometic CFX Series 35W has space for 47 cans within its 1.14-cubic-foot interior.

With stainless steel hinges, reinforced corners and a touch lid liner, the CFX has the old-school toughness of your grandpa’s ice chest but also packs helpful newfangled wizardry like a smart automatic turbo cooler with a digital display that can be controlled via wifi and an app.

Boasting an energy consumption rate of 0.66 kWh per 24 hours, the 35W can be used in a home, car, boat or anywhere else with an outlet, as well as off the grid when linked with a solar hookup.

Already a hot commodity, the usually $700 CFX 35W is now selling for $535 (shipping included).
