After more than a decade away from the silver screen since having a role in 2001’s The Man from Elysian Fields, Mick Jagger is returning to film.

The Rolling Stones frontman is starring in a new heist movie, The Burnt Orange Heresy, which will close out the Venice Film Festival.

In the film, the 75-year-old rocker will portray a “powerful art collector” named Cassidy who owns a “lavish and opulent Lake Como estate,” per Cineuropa.

In the film, Cassidy asks two lovers — Elizabeth Debicki (Widows) and Claes Bang (The Square) — to steal a masterpiece from the reclusive “J.D. Salinger of the art world,” an artist played by Donald Sutherland.

Described as a contemporary “erotic neo-noir thriller,” the film has Italian director Giuseppe Capotondi behind the camera.

The 76th edition of the Venice festival will run from August 28 until September 7. There’s no word on if Jagger will attend the world premiere of the film on the 7th.

Currently, Jagger is on the road with the aging Stones for their No Filter tour — which is being sponsored by a retirement fund.
