You’ve had to had seen it by now: The newest internet debate of Laurel versus Yanny. This audio file has friends, family and coworkers questioning each other’s hearing. The clip and online poll were posted on Instagram, Reddit and other sites by high school students who said that the voice was from a vocabulary website, and it had been recorded through the speakers on a computer.
Now, the White House wants to be in on the debate. In a video posted on Twitter, White House staffers give their vote.

Ivanka Trump and Kellyanne Conway both hear “Laurel.” Whoever is recording the video says to Sarah Huckabee Sanders, “Sarah it’s been reported that you hear ‘Laurel,’ how do you respond?” Sanders responds, “Clearly you’re getting your information from CNN because that’s fake news. All I hear is ‘Yanny.’”
And as for our president? He hears “Covefe.”
